The Regional Manager is a multi-unit business leader, responsible for optimizing the sales performance and profitability of our growing network of Shinola retail stores. By providing store teams with sales leadership, coaching, support and oversight, the RM will ensure an exceptional brand experience for both employees and guests.

  • Acts as the key liaison between stores and corporate retail team.



  • Leads the region’s teams to deliver an elevated guest experience by utilizing Shinola’s retail experience training programs.
  • Coaches store managers on creating engaging store cultures that focus on long-term guest relationships through connection with our brand and brand values.
  • Facilitates growth of our guest base through a focus on CRM, community engagement and building guest loyalty.



    • Recruit and develop external talent pool of candidates through continuous daily networking and interviewing prospective candidates.
    • Oversee the hiring of all retail sales teams and management through partnership with corporate team.
    • Manage performance reviews and development programs for all management staff, addressing performance issues and creating development plans.
    • Creates effective succession planning and conducts career pathing conversations with high performing managers to build internal bench
    • Ensure visual merchandising program is executed and all stores adhere to Shinola standards for product presentation.



    • Full P&L responsibility for regional retail performance by door, including payroll and labor costs.
    • Evaluates store and regional performance for executive team by compiling Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly assessments reports.
    • Identify key opportunities and strategy with corporate partners to improve performance and meet revenue targets.
    • Provide sales leadership and coaching to teams to enable them to meet or exceed KPI and sales targets on a continuous basis.
    • Conducts frequent store visits to ensure team engagement, execution of VM standards, and proper store operations.
    • Ensure adherence to inventory management, shipping and receiving and loss prevention procedures to reduce shrink.
    • Regional managers must spend at least 3 days a week within a Shinola store.



  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a multi-unit manager, or like role. 
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Autonomous, self-managed and resourceful
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to juggle multiple tasks while quickly adapting to new situations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
